Oklahoma Dental Association disagrees with WHO’s recommendation to avoid going to dentist

After the World Health Organization released a statement recommending people avoid going to the dentist for non-emergency visits, the Oklahoma Dental Association voiced its disagreement.According to a statement released earlier this month from the WHO, people should avoid going to the dentist until there’s a drop in transmission rates because dentists work in close proximity to patients’ faces. The Oklahoma Dental Association, however, said they are just as protected as any doctor.“People should not feel scared going to the dentists because we are used to taking infection control measures,” Oklahoma Dental Association President Paul Mullasseril said.Mullasseril told KOCO 5 that he’s disappointed with the WHO and said the organization’s statement is misleading.”Dental offices are probably one of the safest places you can go because of all the precautions we can take,” he said. “The N-95 mask, we also have something called the K-95 mask. On top of that, we have … Read More

extraordinary challenge is met by extraordinary response.”

 Neal A. Maxwell

As the days and nights have blended together over the past couple
of weeks during the growing coronavirus threat, there’s one
thought that continues to rise in my mind.

It’s this: How fortunate; how very fortunate we are to have our
dedicated medical experts and health care workers during this
uncertain time.

We don’t yet know how far, how fast, and how hard coronavirus
will hit our nation or our state, but what we do know, right now,
is that there are professionals we can count on when our backs
are against the wall. And those people are working around the
clock to prepare for increased surge capacity. Many are taking
unprecedented measures to expand their ability to care for our
current and anticipated COVID-19 cases, not to mention

The Hospital Broadcasting Association provides support, training and guidance to empower volunteers to provide the best service they can.

The HBA liaises with charity regulators, broadcast and licencing bodies, and commercial organisations supporting hospital radio and highlighting the benefits of music and light entertainment in the hyper-local environment of individual hospitals or NHS Trusts.

Cellular Medicine Association – Home

To better understand why cellular medicine forms the foundation of health and beauty, consider your bed:  if you get a surgical facelift, you get a tighter sheet.  If you use cellular medicine to make the skin healthier, you get a new sheet (epidermis), a new mattress (dermis) and new box springs (fatty tissue and bone).

There’s a time to tighten the sheet (many of our members are cosmetic surgeons) but every surgeon will tell you that, even if you have surgery, the healthier and younger the tissue (new sheets) the better the results.

This group of scientistsphysicians, and nurse-practitioners (members of the American Cosmetic Cellular Medicine Association) works to discover and to become expert at the best uses of cell biology to improve health and beauty

Current research sponsored by the ACCMA

The methods include stem cells, peptides, glycosaminoglycans (like Juvederm and Restylane), retinoic
