The Mission of Kent State University’s College of Public Health is to develop public health leaders and promote sustainable public health innovations in collaboration with community partners in northeast Ohio through teaching, research, and service.
The Vision of the College is to be a leader in promoting individual well-being and improving public health.
The College is fully accredited as a school of public health by the Council on Education for Public Health. It offers bachelor, masters, and doctoral degrees in a wide range of disciplines. Our faculty and students are engaged in innovative research designed to address some of today’s most important public health issues including substance abuse, active living, chronic disease, violence prevention, and effective management of public health organizations.
