No need to get all nervous when a program crashes or if you need to reboot; you can reorder your programs exactly as they were. Version 2.2 includes an option to rearrange your tray icons, Vista support, and doesn’t store settings in registry anymore. Version 2.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

The Options menu feels lean, except that for what’s essentially a one-trick program it’s got quite a robust set of choices. You can set it to launch at startup, to show a splash screen at startup so you don’t forget it’s running, and the system tray icon is optional. You can also have it automatically group similar program icons together under one umbrella button, or set it to group similar apps live side-by-side but never hidden.

Users can also use Taskbar Shuffle 2.5 full version free to set a middle-click close program feature for the mouse, and even the system tray function key, default to Control, can be altered to one of five others. If you decide not to go with a taskbar replacement dock, Taskbar Shuffle pre-Activated can work wonders for anybody stressed about the chaotic placement of minimized programs in both Windows XP and Vista. • Makes things easier
  • None
  • Looks good on the surface.
  • Yes, we are all creatures of habit. Like email first on the taskbar, media player second, etc. Not only does it work great, but there are no annoyances as with other ‘freeware’ like ads, registration reminders, memory crashes, etc. Perfect. Thanks Jay.
  • simple, effective and quiet does its job.. If you ask me it should be a default MS function. MS removed the option of rearranging tasks after Win3.1 (starting Win95). From that time I missed control. From now I’ve got the control back.. Shuffle taskbar and tray icons in the order YOU want them.

  • could not locate a thing that I don’t like about it
  • It took two minutes to download and I could use it immediately. It works exactly as described and should be a standard feature – glad I finally have it!

This simple freeware application has two functions, but it does them exceedingly well. It allows you to drag-and-drop programs on your taskbar for quick reorganization, and it extends the feature to the system tray when you hold down the Control key and then drag-and-drop. Although previous versions seemed to have some installation quirks, v2.5 installed absent of any problems. During setup, Taskbar Shuffle full version with keygen download gives you the option to install an access point in your Start Menu, but it can also be accessed by right-clicking on its system tray icon.

  1. Very nice and easy. Install, runs in systray, and begin moving/sorting applications listed in the taskbar or systray. I wish there were a way to ALWAYS have certain applications sort in a specific order. For a free and easy to use application, this one is nice.

  2. As stated in the instructions, Asoftech will not always locate your camera or cards plugged into slots on your computer. I purchased a $2 Kingston card reader from Amazon, plugged in my SD card and in minutes the images were recovered.

  3. The techs are thorough and knowledgeable. iYogi is best for those who are novices at technology like me.
